Umbrella is now serving postpartum families

This is me about a week after the birth of my second child. I had just had my first surgery (a C-section) and came home with stiches, swollen ankles from the IV, and a new baby! I basically camped out in the living room of my house. My daughter watched every single episode of the new Electric Company (where Lin Manuel Miranda got his start). Just looking at this picture makes me feel overwhelmed! Now that my kids are older, I want to do my part to help support moms and dads during this chaotic and rapid stage of development. Did you know that perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are the number one complication of pregnancy? They impact at least 20% of new moms and 10% of new dads! Umbrella is launching a home-based, weekly adjustment therapy that is flexible and encompasses the whole family.
